Challenge12 - Challenge Kar

Between 18th March - April 2nd, I will be trekking to Everest Base Camp. On this eleven day trek we will witness some of the most breathtaking scenery, visiting some of the highest villages in the world, and admiring sunrise over the Himalayan snow-capped peaks and Khumbu Glacier. From the peak of Kala Patthar, we gaze up at the mighty Everest summit. 

The trek will take us up to almost 6000m!

A bit about the charity

Holy's Home for Children's aim is to raise money and awareness for children in Ghana so that step by step we get closer to the goal of creating a fully self-sustained orphanage where children will feel safe and supported. The project will benefit the local area by creating jobs, supplying clean, safe drinking water, and offering a range of other activities to benefit the community as a whole.
