Hi, I am Changyin, thanks for visting my justgiving fundraising page.

I am going to participate in a charity activity "9 Lakes in 9 Hours" hosted by my company Societe Generale and the charity "Friends of the Elderly". The challenge consists of crossing 9 Lakes in the Lake district of UK by Mountain Biking, Trekking and Canoeing in 9 hours on 18th September 2010. I am not very strong physically, and I have never done anything with such a high intensity, so it would be a big challenge for me, but I think that I can do it and I will be very glad that if my participation can bring any help to people who need it. Your support will encourage me and help me to overcome the most difficult moments during the 9 hours' journey, and most importantly, your support will help a lot of older people.

"Friends of the Elderly" is an organisation to support older people. I didn't know them until I decide to participate in "9 Lakes in 9 Hours". They are doing a great job to improve the quality of life of older people. Everyone will be old one day, care for older people is need for ever. Especially for people like me, who can not see their parents frequently (I have not been back home for two and a half years), I would be very happy if my parents can have a better environment for their livings. Please join me to support their work for older people!
