I am extremely sad to say that I have been told today by my doctor that I am not able to continue training for the half marathon.  This is down to a medical reason that has been discovered. Thank you to all that had supported me so far and I will be making direct contact with you of course.

Anyone who knows me will know I've never been a runner, when I told Chris this time last year that I was going to start the couch to 5k he couldn't resist reminding me that 'I run like Phoebe from Friends!' However, with 2 great friends not only did we complete the 5k but we decided to set ourselves the challenge of a 10k, which we completed last September. Fast forward to the end of last year and (perhaps in a moment of madness!) we have signed up to the Milton Keynes Half Marathon in May.

This is a huge challenge for Liz, Rhian and myself but we are determined! We are all doing it for an extremely worthy cause; WINTER NIGHT SHELTER MK and would really appreciate your support. Every donation counts.
