Story
Three years ago I ran Race for Life and wrote "A Cure for Everyone" on my back. Like everyone I have wanted to see the end of cancer but last year it got personal...
In December 2015 my sister, Natasha, was diagnosed with Stage III bowel cancer. Shock was replaced with awe as I watched my incredible sister face the fight with such strength, both physical and mental. I had always known that cancer didn't discriminate but the injustice of my 30 year old, fit sister being diagnosed has been incredibly difficult to handle. It has bought home the importance of always being #fitforafight as you never know when you are going to be fighting.
On 28th May my sisters and I will be running 10km around Clapham Common as part of the Pink Army, determined to beat cancer sooner. Natasha will be just over half way through her 6 month course of chemotherapy. If you have any spare pounds or pence to sponsor us my entire family, and the thousands of families fighting around the UK, would be eternally grateful. Thank you. x
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
