The Challenge....
If you are buying a bottle of wine, a cinema ticket, a couple of pints or something else not that important in the overall scheme of thngs - Stop.
Give me that £10 + and know that in some way you are making me train over the next 24 weeks through the winter months come whatever the weather 6 days a week. If you know me you'll be only too aware that I'm am NO athelete and my challenge is going to be much much harder than for you not to spend £10+ for yourself :-)
If that isn't enough then take the £10+ and divert it from something with little memorable impact and put it towards something that could transform someone elses life who is less fortunate then you.
The Lords Taverners - I have been fairly passively involved with the ( http://www.lordstaverners.org/ ) for the last 16 years always seeing "The Other People" give huge chunks of the personal time with no thought for themselves - Now it is my turn to step up to the plate.
The Taverners raises money for young people with disabilities from poor or disadvantaged areas in providing them with modified sports equipment or mini buses that allows them to get out and about.
