Hiiii guys!!!As you know I'm currently in Tenerife working for the Atlantic Whale Foundation. As a punishment for having sweaty shoulders they are forcing me to climb the 3rd biggest active volcano in the world (3 times the size of Ben Nevis, 1000 stacked double decker buses, 4000 midgets on each others shoulders).

So, baring all this in mind, please give generously! Even just £2 would make a considerable difference for us to go on and help save some incredible species.

Please donate guys, or feel my wrath when (if) I get home :) xxxxx

A third of all species of whale and dolphin either live in or pass through Canarian water. My role here has been to continue the fantastic on-going research into the Pilot Whale population that is found around the island, as well as to work with the local community in order to raise awareness as to why the Pilot Whales need to be the focus of conservation.

Pilot Whales are under threat all over the world, and we need to do all we can to ensure that these graceful and beautiful creatures are not threatened with extinction. The AWF is a registered charity, therefore the work we do can only continue with the support and generous donations from the public. This project has really opened my eyes, and I am now determined to do all I can in order to maintain and improve this research and conservation effort.

Therefore, I have taken it upon myself to attempt to summit the world’s third highest active volcano “El Teide” on Wednesday 6th of July. With all things worthwhile, there are of course risks, but at a guess, the climb should take between 8 and 10 hours, not allowing for ash clouds, eruptions and landslides. So, I really need your encouragement, but more importantly I need your money. This is an extremely worthwhile cause, and every pound I receive will really make a massive diference out here. So instead of spending your money on junk food, rubbish magazines, beer and cigarettes, donate it to this cause and you will be saving the lives of these amazing mammals.

Obviously if I perish, your money will not be returned, and I will not be able to thank you in person, but your money will still be used wisely and will be making a difference. So dig deep and donate your pennies, and tell all your friends about the amazing thing you have done today to keep these whales alive for many years to come.
