Working at Quilter, I've seen first-hand the fantastic work that The Quilter Foundation carry out on a daily basis. Therefore, I've decided to don the running tights (yes I have actually bought some) and have signed up to the Hyde Park 10k.
Now when I say I'm not an experienced runner, that really is a complete understatement. I take no enjoyment out of running whatsoever. But what I will take enjoyment out of is raising vital funds for The Quilter Foundation - and here's why.
The Quilter Foundation was launched in 2018 to support the many thousands of young people in our communities who live with daily social and domestic challenges. Funds raised will be donated to our principle partner the Carers Trust to provide immediate relief and personal development opportunities for young carers, aged 16-25, in our communities.
Please donate whatever you can - and feel free to come along on the day to point and laugh as I crawl across the finish line.
