Story
On the 16th September 2014, Jodie Wilson was suddenly taken from us during the birth of her second child, Caleb.
Jodie suffered an amniotic fluid embolism & without the amazing efforts of the hospital staff the family would have lost the baby too. That is in part thanks to the work of Wellbeing of Women, a charity dedicated to improving the health of women & babies across the UK. They invest in specialist medical training for Doctors & Nurses & fund research projects enabling major breakthroughs in medical care - including amniotic fluid embolisms.
Jodie's family & friends have decided to channel their grief into raising funds for this amazing cause so that they can continue their good work & I have agreed to do my bit by jumping from a plane & hopefully raising lots of money & awareness in the process.
Losing Jodie has been heartbreaking for everyone who knew her. She has left behind a beautiful family that she was incredibly proud of & a gaping hole in the lives of her family & friends so any donations, big or small, would be immensely welcomed.
Thank you,
Charlie
