Recently my good friend Dan Rosewell asked me to join him on a ride from London to Paris in aid of the Encephalitis Society. Dan, although always there to help everybody else, rarely ever asks for help himself. So without hesitation I agreed... 

Last year (2014) Dan's sister Joanna was diagnosed with NMDA Encephalitis. Finally, after two previous episodes over the last three decades her condition has been properly recognised and diagnosed, and a successful treatment and management plan has seen her make an amazing recovery. 

Thanks to research into Encephalitis and other neuro conditions, Jo's recovery has been nothing short of miraculous! 

The Encephalitis Society receives NO Government funding and every penny we can raise will fund research and support for people with all types of Encephalitis.
