This page has been created in memory of Charlie and her desire to support Rowcroft Hospice. The care that she received during the four stays at the Hospice was exemplary, for which Richard, her husband, and her family will be eternally grateful. Please give as generously as you can afford.
The vision of Rowcroft is that they believe everyone faceing a life-limiting illness should have access to the highest quality care, tailored to their needs and aimed at giving the best possible quality of life. This was certainly true of the care that Charlie experienced.
The Hospice's services are provided free of charge, but they are not without cost. Current expenditure for all the Hospice's services stands at £5.6 million each year. Rowcroft receives a NHS grant towards a third of this amount, leaving the Hospice needing to raise £11,800 each day to provide its vital services.
