<p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="line-height: 19.0pt; background: white; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Arial; color: #1c1c1c;">11 months ago I ran my first marathon in Edinburgh. It wasn&rsquo;t pretty. From the moment I crossed the finishing line I knew I would have to try again. This Sunday I&rsquo;m running the London Marathon for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.<br><br></span><span style="background-color: white; color: #1c1c1c; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt; line-height: 19pt;">There is currently no known cure for Motor Neurone Disease and from the onset of symptoms life expectancy can be as little as six months.<br><br></span><span style="background-color: white; color: #1c1c1c; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt; line-height: 19pt;">MND is a progressive illness that can affect adults of any age by attacking nerve cells. It leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, increasing loss of mobility and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.&nbsp;<br><br></span><span style="color: #1c1c1c; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt; background-color: white; line-height: 19pt;">The MND Association does unbelievable work for people living with Motor Neurone Disease across the UK.
