DUE SOUTH

COMPLETED!!!

THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE DONATED!

THIS PAGE IS STILL OPEN IF ANYONE STILL WANTS TO DONATE...

Hi my name is Charlie and i'm planning a cycle trip from John o'Groats to Land's End, hence the name 'Due South'.

The plan is to go solo with all my equipment strapped to my bike, it should take 13 days of cycling with a couple of rest days mixed in.

The route, if you are interested, is described in detail on this website: http://www.endtoend.info/jogle/default.asp, if you feel the need to come and heckle me at any stage feel free, provided that you make a large donation!

I am doing this in memory of my Uncle Steve who passed away due to Bowel Cancer a year ago last November. The charity I am raising this money for is 'George Thomas Hospice Care', a charity whose sole occupation is to care for those people who are suffering a terminal illness. These people were extraordinarily helpful to both my uncle and his wife Nicola.

However, this organisation relies on the charitable donations of good people like you in order to continue their admirable work. There is a link to their website on the left of this page, look for the blue and yellow logo. Please feel free to click on this and find out more about what they do.

I am starting the trip on the 28th June, it will be hard going but I believe its worth it as long as it inspires you to donate to this charity.

So please dig deep and donate generously for this cause!

Cheers,

Charlie
