Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Trish and I are taking part in an organised four day charity cycle from London to Paris (August 10th - 14th).  Trish thinks she'll be on a side car attached to my bike, only joking... 

We have until August to raise money and get ourselves fit to cycle 300 miles in 4 days!  We have paid for the privilege (!) and Skyline Tours will be supporting us, along with 30 or so others, throughout the distance - so any donations made will go direct to the charity and not towards our "holiday"!!

We chose The Cure Parkinson's Trust and Marie Curie Cancer Care as Trish's Uncle passed away last year due to Parkinson's and earlier this year, Trish's Aunt also passed away due to a brain tumour.  Whilst I didn't know them well, Trish was very close to both of them, and they did a lot for their community's to help others be it through coaching Gaelic Football or counselling, to mention just some of their voluntary commitments.  They are both missed very much.  These charities also mean something to me as I have friends, family and a Godparent who is coping with either Parkinson's or a certain form of Cancer.

We are hoping to raise as much as possible for both charities – I'm supporting The Cure Parkinson's Trust and Trish is supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care.
