Many of you already know our story about Charlie. He is our little Superman that has already had 2 open heart surgeries at 2 months to repair a hole in his heart and again at 2 years old fix a subaortic stenosis and ventricular outflow tract obstruction. Basically his heart was failing.

Sadly we have had several complications and Charlie needs further operations sooner rather than later. Lucky for us the care and attention from the Freemans Hospital is second to none. Thanks to all of the fab donations from you Chuffers there will a new playroom with round the clock access and with your continued generosity they are hoping to build a 'home from home'. This will be an on-site living space for the patients family that, once they are well enough, can visit for a small amount of time and have some 'normal' family time away from the ward. It also means parents can get a good rest in a proper bed, unwind with a shower, somewhere to store clothes and personal items and have their own space away from bedside.
