Right now, millions of children are in danger. They face violence, disease, hunger and the chaos of war and disaster. Unicef ensures more children get life-saving food, vaccinations, education and protection than anyone else. With your help, we can build a safer world for children. unicef.org.uk

Story

My name is Charlie Simpson and I am 11 years old.

A couple of weeks ago a super typhoon hit the Philippines and it had a devastating affect on the country.  Thousands of people have been killed, many more injured and the survivors need our help.

So, I thought I'd set myself a challenge.  I'm going to cycle 40km and I hope that you might sponsor me.  All the money I raise will go directly to UNICEF UK and they will use it to help the children that have been hit so badly.  They desperately need food, clean water and shelter.

A few years ago, I did a 5 mile cycle ride around my local park that raised over £200,000 for the Earthquake that hit Haiti.  Now that I'm a bit older, I thought I'd better aim to go a bit further!! I've never ridden 40km before, but there's always a first time!

Thank you for reading this, and I hope you might donate to my challenge.

Thank you very much.
