Thank you all for your amazing generosity towards my epic swim which was cancelled due to adverse weather in the Lake District! I am hoping to do a trek from Winchester to Salisbury which I'm hoping makes me worthy of your donations that you kindly made for the swim. Thanks heaps! Charlie x
In a moment of absolute madness I registered to complete the Great North Swim across Lake Windermere in June 2012. As a keen supporter of our armed forces I'm honoured to be raising money for a local charity, The Rifles Care for Casualties Appeal. I really need your support to help propel me through a mile of very cold and possibly algae-filled open water! The Rifles motto is Swift and Bold and I have a feeling I'll need to adopt it as my own to complete this challenge!
The Rifles Care for Casualties gives the severely wounded, their families and the families of fallen Riflemen the support, the inspiration and the means to rebuild their lives and make the best of their futures. Have a look at what they do http://www.careforcasualties.org.uk/ I hope you agree with me that they are a very worthwhile cause.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. Thanks heaps!
