<p> <p class="p1"> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Hello I'm Charlotte and I am currently doing the vocal course at Nexus which&nbsp;is a one year christian music college in coventry&nbsp;that offers courses in Bass, Drums, Guitar, Piano &amp; Keys, Live Sound Engineering and Vocals. &nbsp;The course involves learning about live performance, technique, theory, styles, pursuit of worship, studio work, song-writing, music technology, and in-depth biblical teaching.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Every year Nexus organizes an event called RAG week, which stands for Raise And Give Week. For example last year the nexus students and staff took the challenge on to play a 72 hours football match. More challenges like a 62 hours drumathon, getting as far as possible with money raised by busking, etc. were done by the Nexus students and staff members.&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">This year the big challenge of cycling from Coventry (UK) Amsterdam (The Netherlands) in 8 days has been taken on, this is a 770 km trip! The goal is to raise 250,000 pounds for a new Nexus department in South Africa. This is large amount of money, but with YOUR help we are going to be able to reach this goal!</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Im not actually doing the cycle, but instead I'm on the support team which involves just as much hard work. we are the ones who organize the route, food, contact companies to resource us with what needed etc ... &nbsp;and make sure on the actual week that everyone is hydrated and in good health to cycle!&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Thanks very much all donations will be very much appreciated!&nbsp;</span></p> </p> </p>
