Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am fundraising for EducAid, Sierra Leone.  The civil war that prevailed in Sierra Leone (West Africa) throughout the 1990's only ended in 2001.  Today, Sierra Leone is working hard to stabilise and develop it's quality of life and infrastructure, but is still in a fragile state, facing many challenges of poverty, corruption and economy.  EducAid believes that education is a major contributing factor in helping Sierra Leone overcome these problems and runs free secondary schools for young people, with a view to helping them achieve high standards academically as well as developing their personal, social and economic well-being.

Please sponsor me generously.  With the current financial climate here in Britain, we are all too aware of financial and economic pressures.  But this is nothing compared to the daily challenges and pressures faced by those living in Sierra Leone.  All donations, £5 or more, will make a big difference!  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.  Thank you and wish me luck!  Charlotte
