I DID IT!!! I GOT AROUND IN THE SUN, WIND AND RAIN. GOOD TO BE ON DRY LAND AGAIN.

It did take me 1 hour, 29 minutes and 27 seconds. My daughter did it in 44 minutes.....

Many of you may know that I like swimming, but a mile in open COLD water is not something I have ever done before.

A friend of mine did this swim last September and she is doing it again and so  I decided along with my younger daughter to give it a go. I am terrified! I just hope I get round before it gets dark. 
I  would like to raise as much as I can for the Alzheimer's Society as one day dementia could effect all of us.
