As many of you already know, last year I ran the London Marathon and raised just under £800 for my chosen charity (and thank you to everyone who kindly sponsored me). This year I have decided to do another challenge (well a double challenge!):
1. The Rotterdam Marathon on the 10th April, then
2. A trek along the Great Wall of China from the 30th April to 8th May
Who I am raising money for:
I have been involved with Climb Your Mountain (CYM) now for approximately 14 months; both fund raising and also through my work as a volunteer. I am very passionate about the aim of the charity and the amazing work that it does; so please help me raise as much money as I can :-)
Background to CYM:
CYM are a unique and innovative charity based in Milton Keynes that help people to climb their own personal mountain that they face in life....whether it is depression, stress, anxiety, low confidence or low self-esteem, CYM offers support, training, motivation and opportunities to prevent, deal with and overcome issues. CYM do this by focusing on exercise and inspiring physical activities. In addtion to this CYM also offer educational courses to individuals and teams.
So, please help me to raise money for this wonderful charity by digging deep now and making a donation for my 2011 challenges.
