Story
I grew up in the shadow of the Humber Bridge and from it gained an enthusiasm for engineering and vertigo.
On May 27th (day after my birthday) this year, Mum and I will abseil off the bridge to raise money for the Daisy Appeal.
I will be hoping to give my own daughters a good example in being brave (though I think their Grandma will be setting the bar high on that one). It will however be a long long long time before I ever consider letting them do something similar!
The Daisy Appeal is a great local charity raising money to help improve treatment and research opportunities in a variety of common diseases, most notably cancer and heart disease. The charity is very close to our family's hearts for the help Nicola received from them over the past years, and now that she is a fundraiser for the charity, we couldn't miss the opportunity!
Any donation you can afford would really be appreciated.
