My story

 

Thank you for taking time to sponsor me.  My uncle David tragically died from cancer in June but his stay at Exeter Hospicare made his last weeks and days so special and comfortable for him and his family.  Shortly before he died, I asked him which charity was closest to his heart and understandably, he said it was this one.  Please see the website for more details: http://www.hospiscare.co.uk/.

The swim is one mile around Roadford Lake in Devon on 26th September and wetsuits are strongly recommended!  I’ve never undertaken an openwater swim before so I’m expecting it to be a huge challenge but one I am doing in my uncle's memory.  I hope you can support me as much as possible for this worthy cause.
