In a moment of sheer brilliance (or madness!), the Music Department at Wycombe High School decided to present the staff and friends of WHS with a challenge; to learn a new instrument and pass a Grade One exam in six months. Participants are being sponsored to raise moeny for the 'Play Your Part' campaign. We at WHs are looking to raise £1.5 million in order to build a new Music block and upgrade our Performing Arts facilities in the other parts of the school, work that is desperately needed. The 'Play Your Part' campaign cals on everybody in our school community to use their many talents and skills in order to raise these funds.

 

Not only are the staff and friends of the school learning new instruments, but we, the students are teaching some of them. I will be teaching Mrs Jewell of the Exam's office to sing.
