Story

Hello lovely people

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are running the Run to the Beat half marathon on September 27th 2009 - we would love to raise £1000 in aid of our chosen charity, the Living Room.

So please dig deep and donate now. We appreciate your support.

Lots of love from Laura, Sharon and Charlotte

The Living Room (http://www.thelivingroom.me.uk/) provides free structured day treatments for those with addictions and support for the family, children and friends of those with the illness. One in ten people in the UK will be affected directly by addiction in their life time (whether that be an eating disorder, alcohol or drug addiction, relationship or other behavioural addiction). One in three people will know someone who is affected by addiction, such as a parent, child or sibling. With treatment, addiction can be treated and those affected can recover and lead fulfilling, productive lives.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
