Thank you everyone who donates to my page! i decided to fun raise for this charity as they do out standing work for seriously ill children making one last wish to come true!

The charity all started in 1989 when the founder Barbara Whire met a delightful little 4 year old girl called Johanna who was living with a life threathing illness but still managed such a beautiful smile. 

Johanna told Barbara she would love to go to Florida to meet all her a favourite characters, so Barbara started funrasing for Joanna and her family to have a truly magical trip of a lifetime. Sadly during this time Joanna's health deteriorated and her wish could not be granted before this brave little girl passed away.

Meeting Joanna and her lovely family and seeing all of the heartache they went through inspired Barbara to start when you wish upon a star in 1990, so more children with life threatening illness could have their magical wish granted. 

Now in their 22nd year they still meeting the beautiful children making their wish come true.

This is why I have chosen to fun raise for this charity such an amazing charity that truly does everything to make a child smile again and have their wish come true.
