Hi everyone!

My name is Charlotte and I am a university student in International Relations in Bath. I would just like you to take the time to read this.

I have fund raised for charities before, but I have never done so through a physical challenge. I have always tried to avoid it, as I am not a sporty person (unfortunately). However I find the work done by Worldwide Cancer Research really inspiring and it has enthused me in pushing my limits.

That is why I am going to participate in the Abseil Challenge in the Bath Avon Gorge - to help this organisation which is working in so many different countries, to fight cancer which has become a global issue and that has affected loved ones.

The money raised will directly go to the charity. It will fund research projects and help fight more efficient and easier ways to fight cancer. As funding from governments have been cut, the money we are able to raise thanks to you is the only source of funding the charity gets!
