I will be taking on the 3 peaks challenge in June with a team of 50 of us from HSBC. For those that know me well - this is not a typical activity but for some mad reason I decided to sign myself up!!

The challenge begins with Ben Nevis in Scotland – the highest of the 3 at 1344m. It will then take us 7 hours to travel to the Lake District where we will climb Scafell Pike and we will finally finish by climbing Snowdon (at 3.30am!) and all of this in 24 hours!

The most important thing however is the reason why I'm doing this – to raise money for Marie Curie. I am sure that we have all been affected by cancer at some point in our lives - whether it be a loved one, friend, colleague or family member and we all know how tough it can be. Marie Curie works to make it not so tough. Every penny that we raise for Marie Curie will enable them to carry on with the amazing work they do in ensuring that terminally ill people, wherever they may be in the UK, will have access to brilliant care.

Every £20 raised provides 1 hour of nursing care for Marie Curie Cancer Care, an amazing charity who support individuals and their families at a very difficult time in their lives.

Every penny counts and HSBC will match £1 for £1 on money I raise. Please donate anything that you can - it all really helps in supporting Marie Curie and helping me reach my target!
