Following the story of little Charlie Harris- Beard was incredibly heartbreaking. As a parent of two children, I was particularly moved by the plight of his family and friends and felt inspired to help raise money for the charity who helped them: the Anthony Nolan Trust.

In memory of the much loved Charlie Harris- Beard.

On August 17th, I will be climbing Ben Nevis the highest mountain in the British Isles. Standing at 1,344 metres (or 4,408 feet) this will be no afternoon stroll but my motivation for reaching the summit will be Charlie.

Ben Nevis translated from Gaelic means 'Mountain of Heaven'
