On Sunday (27th November) I will be attempting to lug my body around 13miles in the Norwich half marathon.

Training has certinly not been a pleasurable expereince, it has included some time on crutches, 6weeks with a wire through my foot, a dog attack and even having to run next to Doug whilst he cycles and attempts to offer words of encouragement!

I am certainly not looking forward to Sunday.....!

The Parkinsons Disease Society does fantastic work - the society is celebrating it's 40th year this year. They fund specialist research that is focused on transforming lives , offer information and advice and also have a network of local support groups. They do great work.

Fingers crossed for a dry day and a high pain threshold......and not too much heckling and laughing from the Marlingford Bell!
