<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>One in 3 of us will get cancer.&nbsp; As a therapist, I am faced each day with the reality of this illness.&nbsp; Talking about cancer is not always an easy thing to do in the treatment room.&nbsp; At first I struggled, but about two years ago, I went through Macmillan's cancer support training.&nbsp; This offered me the opportunity to be able support my patients in a completely different way.&nbsp; Since then, I have confidently supported many individuals who face cancer themselves as well as their families and carers.</p> <p>Macmillan is a charity that is very close to my heart because of their practical approach.&nbsp; The money raised is used very practically in supporting those with cancer.&nbsp; It is for this reason that I am undertaking the China challenge in 2012. I ask you to dig deep and give freely if you know anyone who is affected by cancer.
