This October Richard Chaytor and Elinor Gregory, intercalating medical students from Peninsula Medical School will be travelling to Nanyuki, Kenya to be part of the Kenya Orthopaedic Project (KOP).
We will be assisting a crack team of surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre staff and physiotherapists from the South West Peninsula to help out victims of trauma who otherwise would not have the funds to access the treatment, as all healthcare out there is private.
After that we will be climbing the second highest mountain in Africa (after Kilimanjaro, obviously): Mount Kenya!
Thats 16,355 feet to the peak! Click here for more...
This is all being done under the umbrella charity, Medical and Educational Aid to Kenya (MEAK) - an awesome charity that has organised over 60 missions and performed thousands of operations over the past 2 decades. Click here for more on MEAK...
So donate lots of money to our page to help MEAK on this mission and many future ones!
Come on, lets save some Africans...
