Story
I'm running the 2024 London Marathon for the RSPCA!The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) have been here for animals since 1824.
Back in 2015, our family dog passed away. A while later my mum had found a tiny dog rescue and found Bunny. The start of Bunny's life was hard. She was tied up outside 24/7, beaten and used as a bait dog. That was until the RSPCA stepped in and saved her.
When my mum picked her at the rescue with my stepdad, they said she might have a difficult time trusting people. The first thing Bunny did when she came home, was jump on my lap and snuggle into me - she'd never met me before. It is thanks to the RSPCA that I have her in my life. It is thanks to their amazing volunteers that for the past eight years she has been given the love she truly deserves.
The work the RSPCA do is absolutely incredible, but to be able to first hand say they saved my girl, I have no way to ever thank them for that.
They saved Bunny and I want to help them so other animals have the chance to know love like she now does
