After months of to-ing and fro-ing from the doctors and hospital, my Mum was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer, where she had to undergo a total Abdominal Hysterectomy with Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy, although she is still undergoing the regular checks to ensure that the cancer has not returned, she is doing well and still with us. 

She was one of the lucky ones. Unfortunately, not everyone is as lucky as mum was, so I am raising money to give more people the chance that she had. 

This challenge is also a personal challenge for me too, to get up off the sofa and be more active, and I plan to increase my fitness levels in order to complete it.
