To my dear friends and family!
As part of my gap year, I am fund raising for WDCS (Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society). End of this month, I will be participating in a two-week, very difficult, steep and challenging trek in Nepal to reach to Everest Base Camp (5500m high). This involves an average of 8 hours trek every day, having to climb up steep ascents; which demand a great deal of energy, discipline and endurance. I have been training hard for several months now, with a lot of determination, as I know it is for a very worthy cause.
Since I was very young, I have been deeply saddened that certain species of whales and dolphins are rapidly becoming extinct; and also all the harm and cruelty they are undergoing constantly (please refer to http://www.wdcs.org/stop/captivity/index.php). I sincerely believe that we need charity organisations like WDCS to help to conserve them.
I hope you will support me in my life-long passion to help save the precious Whales and Dolphins of the world!! Any small amount you could donate would be greatly appreciated by myself and the whales and dolphins.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Lots of love,
Chelsea x x
