As you will probably know, until recently we had our own Dental Practice and Martin spent time in Tanzania using his dental skills to treat patients and train dental officers and saw first hand how much could be achieved.  We know surgeons who have taken time out in the same way to carry out cleft lip/palate operations.  Now we wish to raise funds to enable others to do the same. 

It can takes as little as 45 minutes and £150 to change a child's life for ever.

And about Operation Smile...it is an international children's medical charity that performs safe, effective cleft lip and cleft palate surgery and delivers post-operative and ongoing medical care to children in low-income countries.
