I would like to thank everyone who has sponsored me already, so far I have raised over £200 but I'm hoping to get a lot nearer my target so please give whatever you can!

I have been training for the last few months and considering it has been the coldest winter in 30 years it has been hard to get motivated and go out. I have had a few missed training sessions but I have gone from couch potato to being able to run 13 miles in under 4 months.

I have signed up to run the Premier Power Larne Half Marathon on Saturday 20th March, I will report back with my results, wish me luck!!! Hopefully it will enable me to predict my full marathon time.

Talking of the Belfast Marathon, it is now less than 2 months away! I can't believe it has gone so quickly and now the reality of having to run 26.2 miles is hitting home. Training has been stepped up to a minimum of 5 days a week and I have been looking on the internet to find information on the Belfast Marathon...maybe not a wise idea as I discovered there is an hilly incline on the course that lasts 5 - 6 miles!
