The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am turning 40 in June and I am climbing Kilimanjaro to celebrate this. I am self funding the trip and raising money for the The National Autistic Society.

There are over half a million people in the UK with autism - that's around 1 in 100. If you include their families, autism touches the lives of over two million people every day.

We want a world where all people living with autism get to lead the life they choose.

This means a world where everyone living with autism:

  • gets the support, education and training they need
  • lives with dignity and as independently as possible
  • feels part of their community and wider society
  • is understood by all professionals who support them
  • is respected for who they are by a knowledgeable public

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
