My mum is currently fighting cancer and is, thankfully, in the final stages of her treatment which we are hoping to be successful. Cancer Research is an amazing charity that supports cancer patients as well as the friends and families of those affected by cancer. 

My sister and I have joined together with friends and family to run the 10k Race for Life in Leicester to raise as much money as we possibly can for this charity and more importantly to show our mum that she's not on her own in fighting this.

Every penny counts and it's important to raise money for cancer charities and raise awareness because the money donated goes towards funding this crucial research and offering vital support for anybody affected.
