A group of us University of Leeds students are taking part in a cycle from Leeds to the Brandenburg Gate in central Berlin over 8 days in order to raise money for Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust. It will be a week of sore legs and achey bums but all worthwhile for such a great and hardworking charity.

Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust is a fantastic charity which focuses on improving the lives of young cancer patients. It is currently the only UK charity which funds medical research into cancer affecting both young adults and teenagers between the age of 13 and 24. The charity is currently funding research into testicular and ovarian tumours of teens and young adults in its GONADS project. Bike to Berlin 2014 is hoping to make a massive contribution to Laura Crane in order to help them in this research project and all the other amazing work it gets involved in.
