Story

From the 22nd - 24th June I along with colleagues from Dimension Data will be completing the Three Peak Challenge - climbing the highest mountains of England, Scotland & Wales:

  • Ben Nevis
  • Snowdon
  • Scafell Pike

That’s nearly 10,000 feet of ascent and over 22 miles in distance - and we are planning to do this in under 24 hours!!!

The challenge will start on Friday 22nd June when we arrive in Scotland. We will then start to ascend Ben Nevis early on the Saturday morning. By the evening, we will be in the Lake District and will complete our trek up Scafell Pike. We will then travel to Wales late on the Saturday evening, and will have completed our Snowdon challenge by early on the Sunday morning.

I am raising money in memory of my mother in law Viv Pinnington who sadly passed away on 12th January 2018. Viv died after contracting Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma. Adrenal Cancer is exceptionally rare form of cancer and affects less than 1 in a million people.  She had some exceptional care and support from our wonderful NHS and money raised will assist the QE into adrenal cancer research.
