Chloe's Chub Club

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving Page in memory of my Daughter, Chloe Harvey.
Chloe was full of life and loved being fit and healthy. She was young, didn't smoke or take drugs. She went to the gym, ate well and generally looked after herself. I think she was perfect xx
On Friday the 16th January she reached work with a blinding headache, feeling unsteady on her feet and nauseous. Her colleagues acted quickly calling an ambulance and she was rushed to hospital. By the time she got there she was unconscious and was put on life support and transferred to the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. She had had a large bleed on the brain. She was born with a defect in her brain's blood vessels (an AVM), that no one ever knew about, and it had burst.
She fought so hard to stay with us, but sadly she never regained consciousness and died 10 days later in the early hours of January 27th 2015. She was 23 years old. I miss her every day.
The consultants, surgeons, nurses and support staff at the hospital were amazing and stayed with Chlo 24hrs a day, fighting along side her, with every technology and expertise they had. They said she gave herself the very best chance of survival by being so fit and healthy.
We would like to show our support to the National Brain Appeal, by becoming fit and healthy too and raising funds to help them to continue to try and save lives. All the Chub Club members are donating a gold coin for every 1lb in weight they lose! And this cause is an amazing incentive to shed those extra bits :-D
Watch our fund raising total as we head towards December 20th and please feel free to message me if you wish to join Chloe's Club
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, we would appreciate any support, ideas, words of encouragement or donations.
