I am not throwing up in the picture, but I had just done my longest run so far (14 miles) and the thought of doing nearly the same amount again was somwhat distressing!

I have walked 26 miles in a day on more than one occasion, but running that far does at the moment seem rather daunting. I am however driven onwards and forwards firstly by the thought of raising money for a good cause, and secondly, knowing that last year a competitor in his 90's completed the course. Hopefully I will be a little quicker than his time, but to be honest, I will just be very glad to get round!
