We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

On the 16th and 17th October 2013, I (Chris Andrews) will be one member of a six man team cycling for 24 hours as part of the Lloyds Banking Group 24 Hour Round the World cycle challange. We will be cycling a static bike on a rota basis continuously throughout the 24 hours. There will be teams from Lloyds up and down the UK and beyond completing the challenge alongside us, the accumulated distance we're hoping will be at least the equivilent of once around the world, hopefully further.

Throughout 2013/14, Lloyds Banking Group will be working with Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland to raise over £2million to help improve the lives of thousands of people with dementia and their carers.

Their pioneering ‘Live Well’ programme will educate people with dementia, their carers and families about how to cope with day to day life and how to plan for the future.

By working together, Lloyds Banking Group, Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland will raise awareness of the problems faced by people with dementia and their carers when dealing with personal finances, exploring ways to make the banking sector more ‘dementia friendly’
