My colleagues at CAU Guildford and I have decided that the Shooting Star CHASE Childrens charity was a fantastic cause to support. Based in Guildford, Shooting Star CHASE is a children's hospice charity, supporting local families with a child or teenager not expected to reach their 19th birthday. They help through tough times with practical, nursing and emotional support.  They have an amazing facility and a day/overnight centre in Guildford - but it costs a lot to run well!
