I am taking part in the Cotswold middle distance triathlon, the Broad Haven Olympic distance triathlon, the whole 3 day Long Course Weekend event and finishing with Iron Man Wales on Sunday Sept 18th. My best friend and well known local Tenby character Simon (Jim) Rossiter was taking part in all of these events with me until he received confirmation on Friday 13th May that he had non-hodgkins lymphoma cancer and will start chemotherapy in June.    Simon is a very positive person and in his words "having never knowingly left a party early, I have no intention in leaving this one either, cancer hasn't met me yet".  

This made my choice of which charity to raise money for this year very easy indeed and thus I have chosen "Blood Wise".  With your very kind support, donations and Simon's great positive attitude he and many others will beat cancer.
