Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I have decided to run my first ever marathon and half marathon in aid of Sands - a charity very close to my families hearts. I will be running in memory of my beautiful niece Georgina.

The charity does an incredible job supporting families following stillbirth or neonatal death. The particular cause I am running for is for North Devon Sands, who have recently launched a major fundraising for a bereavement suite at North Devon Hospital. They currently don't have one; and those who have benefited from one know how essential this is.

Now, anyone who knows me will be aware that I don't have the best of track records with injury! My last leg break left me with a 6 inch plate and 8 screws in my left leg so I'm sure you can appreciate that this makes the task a little harder - there will therefore be no time targets, just a determination to complete the miles whatever it takes!

Any donation (no matter how big or small), will be massively appreciated and make a big difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
