Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. We rely on donations to fund our work but with one baby admitted to neonatal care every five minutes we don’t have the resources to reach every baby who needs us. Your donation can help Bliss ensure every baby gets the best care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On August 10th I will be riding the London-Surrey 100, a continuous 100 mile cycle ride going through the streets of London, out into the hills of Surrey, before coming back into the capital to finish. It certainly won't be a walk in the park so I'm doing the best I can to get in shape in time!

This is my first attempt at a professional race and my first time fund-raising, in this instance for Bliss who support pre-mature babies and their parents. I haven't had any personal experience with their cause, but from meeting charity reps and learning of the work they do I can't understate how important they are for babies born too soon.

Training is progressing, with the aim to build it up on long rides every weekend until the event, with extra hill training after work.

Bliss and myself will be hugely appreciative of any donations, big or small, to help me reach my target of £400. If you are kind enough to donate, please make sure to use gift-aid if you are eligible, as it doubles (yes doubles) your donation.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page and please sponsor me if you can!
