As some of you will know I love being on the hills and so when the opportunity to raise money and do something i love came along I signed up. I have never done the Yorkshire Three Peaks and it is no small challenge so please help me reach my target of £250 for this worthwhile cause that affects so many.

The charity we are raising money for has even more special meaning

as 2017 is both Emerald’s and Heart Research UK's 50th Anniversary. Also in February, 2014, Martin Fojt (Chairman of Emerald Publishing) suffered a sudden and fatal heart attack. Sudden Cardiac Death (SDC) of this type is responsible for over 3 million deaths per year, worldwide and is the focus of a specific piece of research that we will support this year.
