On Wednesday 13th October 2010 I will be flying to Tanzania to start an amazing expedition to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

I will be part of a team of 12 from Bupa International. Our aim is to raise £36,000 for two worthy charities - www.themartlets.org.uk a local hospice in Brighton and www.lightinafrica.org an organisation supporting orphans in Africa.

Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa at 19,340 feet (5,895 Metres). It will take 6 days to complete the climb & descent.

I have been training hard to make sure I am in the physical shape necessary to achieve my goal. I am determined to reach the sumit and help these extremely deserving charities.
