On Sunday 26th June 2016, myself and a few other members of the Sefton Velo Cycling Club, will be embarking upon a coast 2 coast cycle challenge.  Starting in the glorious surroundings of the Great British seaside town of Scarborough we will proceed on a South Easterly (Apparently it's South Westerly. As South Easterly will end quickly in the North Sea) heading and finish in Liverpool, after riding over 160 miles, climbing over 9000 feet, and no doubt riding all day into the prevailing wind.  

Despite cycling a fair bit, this is by far the most challenging event that I will have personally taken part in so please dig deep and offer support.

The challenge is being undertaken in support of Zoe's place, the only baby specific hospice in the UK to provide palliative respite and end of life care completely free of charge, as well as ongoing support to families.
